Frieze returns to Randall's Island Park, Manhattan, New York making the city the center of the global art world.
The third edition of the New York art fair promises to be bigger than ever, featuring over 190 of the world's leading contemporary galleries, with 53 of the participants based right in New York. Frieze New York different from other art fair because it is the few art fairs in the world that focus on contemporary and living artists. Frieze's discerning organizers select galleries that represents the most exciting and forward thinking artists working today from all over the globe. This year's participating galleries include Gladstone Gallery, New York; Kurimanzutto, Mexico City; Taka Ishii Gallery, Tokyo; and The Box, Los Angeles.

Frieze Talks invite discussions of some of the most hotly debated issues in visual arts today by exploring connections with politics, writing, and filmmaking and bringing together a range of voices, from artists and curators to filmmakers and musicians. This year's Frieze Talk will feature Masha Alekhina and Nadya Tolokonnikova of Pussy Riot / Zona Prava; Okwui Enwezor, Artistic Director of the 56th Venice Biennale; Kenneth Goldsmith, poet and author; Joshua Oppenheimer, director of The Act of Killing (2012); and Adam Szymczyk, Artistic Director of documenta 14.
