Italian Fashion Week

As September races to a close, Milan beckons fashionistas for yet another fabulous Fashion Week. Baroque Access takes a look at what’s happening from 21 to 27 September

Fashion savvy individuals have already booked their spots and accepted their invitations to Milan Fashion Week, where the Spring/Summer 2017 women’s designer collections will take to the catwalk. If you’re planning to visit, take a look at the schedule listed here, and also a recommendation of where to drink and dine at a a stunning luxury hotel that is catering especially for the fashion frenzy that will overtake Italy’s designer fashion hub.

We’re talking about the iconic Hotel Principe di Savoia, which is situated on Piazza della Repubblica in the midst of the fashion mayhem. In preparation for the fashionable individuals who will be coming to town, the hotel’s Acanto Restaurant and Principe Bar have redesigned their menus especially for Milan Fashion Week.

Book now for the hotel’s signature Acanto Restaurant, which will offer an exclusive four-course gourmet dinner from 21 to 27 September, featuring red prawns, ravioli stuffed with buffalo mozzarella, turbo cooked with a salt crust, white chocolate mousse and much more. This delectable meal will be paired with a selection of top quality wines.

Drinks at the hotel’s fabulous Principe Bar will be just as exciting. There’s the signature cocktail, the Fashion Milan Mule, that will be served exclusively during Fashion Week. Made of Vodka Belvedere and Ginger Beer, it’s accented with an essence of saffron and a combination of blackberry and raspberry puree. The beverage is decorated with cucumber, blackberries and lime and is sure to be an exotic treat.

Remember to make your way back to the Principe di Savoia on September 23rd for the most awaited event of the week, the Milan Fashion Party. From 8:00pm until 1:30am, guests will enjoy music from a live DJ. It’s sure to be a night to remember.
