The Ferrari 458 Italia is quite the supercar, aesthetically it is quite pleasing, its performance is nothing to scoff at and it has a presence few cars possess. There is really not much you can do to perfect this automotive masterpiece, well that's not until Dutch firm Ugur Sahin decided to try its hand with the Project F.
Ugur Sahin plans to transform the Ferrari 458 from looking modern and contemporary to looking nothing short of something from a science-fiction novel/movie. It's impossibly low roofline appear to be inspired Tron's light cycle, while its fenders looks like solid blocks of Unobtanium (Avatar reference).
The Project F will sit on the chassis of the Ferrari 458 and would probably feature a 4.5-liter V8 engine producing up to 570hp to the rear wheels. In the front the Project F gets an aggressive front fascia with integrated LED daytime running lights. The rear section has a T-shaped layout reminiscent of the LaFerrari and a Koenigsegg-inspired profile. Sahin will add extended fenders, wraparound windshield and a new rear. If the Sahin design retain anywhere near the F458's 3270lb weight, we can expect it to have a 0-62 acceleration of around 3.4 seconds.
Currently Project F is just a digital rendition, however based on the initial interest and these stunning designs, it seems all but certain that Sahin's design will come to life.
