The new Royal Oak Concept GMT pushes design and materials further than you'll see in your traditional Royal Oak.
Its most notable design aspect is its use of remarkably white ceramic material.
The Concept GMT Tourbillion for 2014 features a twin barrel, manually wound, completely in-house movement with tourbillion and GMT and a white ceramic upper plate. In addition the timepiece has bezel, crown and pushers.
What's distinctly unique about this watch is that White Ceramic is nine times harder than steel and almost totally scratch-proof. It requires special diamond-tipped to cut. The 44mm case is made of titanium, which is then hardened by anodisation.
The latest Audemars Piguet Concept once again highlights their strength in materials engineering.
The Concept GMT is currently priced at $200,000
