In March this year you’ll be able to purchase an iconic Fendi bag online, as well as a stunning range of ready-to-wear garments and accessories
Designer label Fendi, which is part of the auspicious Louis Vuitton Moet Hennesy (LVMH) group, announced last week that they will be launching an e-commerce site in March 2015. The website, which will be accessible in 28 European countries, will feature Fendi’s ready-to-wear ranges and accessories, as well as six of the latest looks from Fendi’s Fall/Winter 2015 collection, which is expected to be shown in February.
In addition, the new retail website will include a roll-out to both the US and Japan by the end of the year, latest early 2016. According to Chairman and CEO Pietro Beccari, Fendi will hand all of the logistics in house and plans to offer a selection of options for placing orders, delivery or pick-up.
Fendi’s appearance in the e-commerce world is part of a recent retail approach being adopted by various upmarket luxury brands over the past few months. It’s expected that many more will follow suit by the end of 2015.
