Italian luxury designer Valentino has opened a brand new boutique this month in Miami’s iconic Design District
Finally, Miami can boast Valentino’s iconic style and fashion flair as the luxury Italian design house opens an exquisite, vast 4,765 square foot boutique in the Design District. Valentino’s Creative Directors Maria Grazia and Pierpaolo Chiuri have worked with US design guru David Chipperfield to combine innovative and time-honored Italian design concepts and create a pallazo-like feel. The new boutique is everything one would expect from Valentino – it’s spacious, stylish and ultra modern using the brand’s inimitable design elements.
The Valentino boutique has been cleverly structured to complement and highlight each item on display. Despite the spaciousness and light created with oak, marble, glass, plush carpeting and opulent materials, its design retains an intimate personality. Valentino’s latest offerings are displayed on oak hangings supported by brass and highlighted with sophisticated LED lights. The entire three-story space is both welcoming, intimate and luxurious, inviting visitors to enter and savor the beautiful products within.
Miami Design District
This iconic design district in magnificent Miami used to be a sleepy strip of furniture stores, but has been redesigned to become an exciting series of spaces offering the best in international fashion and design. Today the Design District houses a flagship Louis Vuitton store as well as magnificent stores featuring Bulgari, Christian Dior and Van Cleef & Arpels. And now, of course, Valentino’s iconic store has joined the ranks.
More than 30 other top designer boutiques are planning to join the throng in the first half of 2015, and by the end of 2016, the Miami Design District, which spans 10 square blocks, is expected to be home to a plethora of exciting art galleries, restaurants, sculptures and stores, as well as lots of trees and greenery. Soon the Design District will be a go-to destination, a stylish neighborhood in Miami that will attract visitors from all over the world.
