The oldest chocolate store in Manhattan, Li-Lac Chocolates has been delighting New York palates since 1923. Their offerings are still the same as when the store opened almost a century ago, olde worlde delights created by hand in small batches using the original recipes. You can’t get much more authentic than that! Started by Greek immigrant George Demetrious, who studied chocolate making in France, the store is still at its original location in Greenwich Village. Determined to remain old school, the store still manages to attract die-hard chocolate fans, especially at Easter time. This year’s selection is no different, but it will certainly delight… choose from giant chocolate bunnies, vintage chocolate eggs, Easter baskets, marshmallow eggs, jelly bean carrots, lamb pops and more.
