Gulfstream G650 Breaks Speed Record between Hawaii and Singapore

The high-speed G650 took off from Honolulu International Airport at 9:33am local time with five crew members and two passengers on board. It flew a total of 5,909 nautical miles (10,943 km) at an average speed of Mach 0.85, arriving at Singapore's Changi International Airport 14 hours and 6 minutes later. To make it more impressive, the aircraft flew against headwinds exceeding 100 knots for more than half the flight.
